Nutrition: Slow Cooker Turkey Chili
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds lean turkey
1 Large Vidalia onion, chopped
1 Garlic clove, minced
1 Packet Chili seasoning
1 1/2 cups of corn kernels
1 Red, 1 Green pepper, chopped
1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
Preparation:
Cook first 4 ingredients in a large skillet over medium heat until turkey is no longer pink. Put mixture into slow cooker with the rest of the ingredients, stir until blended. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours. Serve with fresh shredded cheese or fresh sliced jalepenos.
